Holiday Homework 2 (T3Wk8): National Day
Wednesday, September 3, 2008
Hi Everyone,
we have just celebrated our National Day. P5 also attended the NE Show which is similar to the National Day Parade.
For our holiday homework, we will reflect on the significance of National Day.
To guide you , I have posed some questions below:
1. What is National Day?
2. Why do we celebrate National Day?
3. How did you celebrate National Day?
4. What do you think of our school's National Day celebration?
5. In what ways can we improve in our celebration of National Day?
In your reflection, do include some photographs of National Day celebration if you have. I am looking forward to reading your response.

My Reflection!!!
Hi Everyone!
Today, I am going to tell you about National Day. As what Mrs. Tan said,
the P5 had also attended the NE Show which is similar to the National Day Parade! That was totally cool! =) Now I am going to tell you my response by answering Mrs. Diana Tan's questions. What is National Day? National Day is a state or territory achieved their independence or the introduction of a democratic constitution. Every country celebrate National Day every year. I celebrate National Day at home and at school. At school, I celebrate on the 8 August which is the day before National day. I didn't celebrate the whole day in school. Wei Jian and i celebrate outside the school more than celebrate in the school. Why? We are the NE Ambassadors. This how I celebrate or should I say all the NE Ambassadors and I celebrate in school. After assembly, we go to Miss Thai and the helpers. We play games in the hall until 9:30 a.m. That was fun! =D After playing the helpers will called out the names. I didn't realised that I was actually been chosen. In the P4 levels, Hanna Jasmine from P4-04 and I were chosen to be the leader. OH man! That was so though to get many attentions for them to know how to play all those games and even at the parade square doing all the cheers. o= At 9:30 a.m. , we went outside of the school to do connect Singapore. We hold hands and wait for the DJ to give us the instruction. Everyone shout out the Singapore National Pledge and went back home. Now I will tell you how I celebrate at home. I celebrate National Day on 9 August that means that it is on National Day. I didn't go to the Marina Bay to watch the parade but I watch it on television (TV). I like the parade very much! I like the national song most in the parade. I think that the school's celebration is fun, but this year I don't know and I know that it is more fun then last year! the school can put more activities and have some quizzes. bye!!! :)
